Privacy policy
This policy explains what Reviews Lounge collects when you visit, and what we do with it. It is deliberately short, because we collect very little.
What we collect
Server logs. Our web server records standard request information — IP address, the page requested, timestamp, referring page and browser user-agent. This is ordinary web server behaviour, used to keep the site running and to diagnose faults. Logs rotate automatically and are not used to build profiles of individuals.
We do not run advertising trackers, set marketing cookies, operate a newsletter, or ask you to create an account. This site has no login, no comment system and no contact form that stores submissions.
Cookies
Reviews Lounge does not set its own tracking cookies.
Third parties
Two things on this site involve other companies, and you should know about both:
- Affiliate links. When you click a “Check price” button you are passed to an affiliate network and then to a retailer. That network will typically set a cookie so it can attribute a later purchase to this site. That process is governed by the network's and the retailer's privacy policies, not ours.
- Embedded content. Product images are served from the manufacturers' own content delivery networks, and web fonts are served by Google Fonts. Loading them reveals your IP address to those providers, as with any embedded content on the web.
Your rights
Because we do not hold accounts or marketing data, there is generally no personal profile for us to export or delete. If you believe we hold information about you and want it removed, contact us and we will deal with it.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update this page and the date below.
